The guestrooms at Ranweli Holiday Village are simply amazing! They provide all the comforts you need, like air conditioning and separate sitting areas, making you feel right at home. And the amenities like safes and minibars only add to the convenience. I absolutely loved it!
Personally, I found the piped-in music in the air-conditioned room a bit bothersome. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Located in 5 miles from Angurukaramulla Temple. The decor here was beautiful.

The room at Ranweli Holiday Village was a generous size with indoor and outdoor seating areas, offering a beautiful view of the gardens and ocean. It was very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The ambiance of the surroundings was also pleasant, with a wonderful view that enhanced the overall experience.
One minor drawback was that the room could have been better laid out. There was a single bed placed against a wall, which seemed to be for accommodating a child.

The food was exceptional, different everyday, very tasty and hygienic. Srilal, the restaurant manager, was fantastic! the deluxe bungalow was worth the upgrade - cozy bed, bright, clean, and spacious bathroom. Right on the beach with a nice pool. Quiet and relaxing, perfect for resting before flying out. They even extended our check out time for a small fee, allowing us to rest and shower. Professional staff. Loved watching the toddy guy up in the palm trees without safety gear!
Felt so well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.

As frequent travelers in Sri Lanka, my partner and I have stayed at many hotels, but Ranweli quickly became our favorite. The hotel's stunning location, nestled between a river and the sea, along with its beautiful design and comfortable rooms, made our stay unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with special requests, and the food, although not cheap, was absolutely worth it. The pool and the beach were both perfect for a swim, and the hotel's unique boat transfer added an interesting touch to our stay.
I do recommend this hotel.

The location was stunning with a beautiful private beach, and the views from the room were breathtaking. Plus, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was very overpriced, especially for food and drinks. It was also difficult to communicate the pricing as everything was listed in foreign currency and not in local currency.

The beach was nice and clean and perfect to get some sun. , the food offered was palatable and satisfying. The fact that we could get a massage at the hotel was a nice added bonus. The location was perfect for us, as we could easily reach the airport.
The hotel seemed outdated and not at all well-maintained. The pool was small and didn't feel very safe, and the spa was quite smelly.

The location is perfect for those who want to use a canoe for free and explore the river, which is a unique experience. the resort boasts a relaxing and peaceful ambiance, particularly noticeable in all areas of the resort, far from the atmosphere of a hospital waiting area. the staff offers an excellent service, and the breakfast is delicious with several options to choose from.
Some aspects of the facilities and rooms need to be improved.
